THEON GROUP plc, a leading developer and manufacturer of night vision and thermal imaging systems for defense and security applications, has announced the publication of its half-year financial report for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The report highlights strong revenue growth, industry-leading profitability, and significant market expansion.
According to the report, THEON GROUP’s revenue for the first half of 2026 surged by 35.4% compared to the same period last year. The company reported an adjusted EBIT margin of 26.2%, showcasing its robust profitability. THEON GROUP also noted a sustained book-to-bill ratio of approximately 1.0x, indicating a consistent demand for its products. The company’s addressable market has expanded to nearly €8 billion, driven by new high-growth adjacencies.
THEON GROUP is set to focus on capturing new business opportunities, developing new products, and integrating its recent acquisitions. The company has secured a €325 million syndicated financing facility coordinated by Alpha Bank, a leading Greek bank. This funding will bolster THEON GROUP’s liquidity and flexibility, further cementing its position in the defense and security industry.

The report also revealed that THEON GROUP has been at the forefront of defense technology, securing significant contracts. In 2025, the company won the largest single procurement tender for night vision goggles in the history of a European NATO member, supplying over 100,000 goggles to the Belgian and German armed forces, valued at approximately €1 billion.
In addition to its existing operations in Greece, Cyprus, Germany, the Baltics, the United States, the Gulf States, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, Singapore, and South Korea, THEON GROUP continues to expand its global footprint, with a presence in 73 countries, including 26 NATO member states.
