The Things I Didn't Do" Premieres to Full House in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla., The independent psychological thriller series "The Things I Didn't Do," created by filmmaker Thiago Kling, made its debut in Central Florida on August 8, 2026, at Regal Winter Park Village & RPX. The premiere, which welcomed a full-capacity audience, marked a significant milestone for the region's growing independent film community.

Presented by Kling Brothers Entertainment in collaboration with the Orlando Film Commission, the event brought together the series' cast, crew, filmmakers, media, and community supporters. The premiere celebrated years of dedicated work and highlighted the collaborative efforts of local talent and production partners.

Thiago Kling, the creator and writer of "The Things I Didn't Do," expressed his gratitude for the support received. "Having the premiere in Orlando was incredibly rewarding," said Kling. Directed by Fernando Tosetti, a filmmaker with numerous accolades, the series features a strong creative team. Tosetti, whose work has earned him Best Director at Campus Movie Fest (2019), Best Editing from Orlando Independent Filmmakers (2021), Best Cinematography from the Organization of Independent Filmmakers (2025), and a Silver Telly Award for Videography (2026), brings a wealth of experience to the project. The series also benefits from the writing skills of Julia Antuerpem, a Harvard-trained creative writer with a background in Disney, Globo, and Netflix, whose screenplays have garnered more than 60 international honors.

"The Things I Didn't Do" follows Ethan, a withdrawn teenager struggling to find his place in the world. To cope with feelings of isolation, Ethan fills a secret notebook with disturbing drawings imagining the deaths of those who have hurt him. When the notebook disappears and the people inside it begin dying exactly as he imagined, Ethan is drawn into a chilling mystery that forces him to question what is real and who can be trusted.

The series premiered with a full house, signaling strong community support and interest. Following its successful Orlando debut, the filmmakers are now exploring opportunities to continue production and bring the full series to new audiences.
