The Systems Group Launches Systems Cool Air Solutions for Steel Mills

The Systems Group, a family-owned company with roots dating back to 1970, has expanded its services to meet the unique needs of the steel industry with the launch of Systems Cool Air Solutions, a new division dedicated to providing industrial HVAC services exclusively for steel mills and metal-related industrial facilities.
Founded on the principle of addressing the challenges faced by steel mill operators, Systems Cool Air Solutions will offer comprehensive HVAC capabilities, including new installations, preventive maintenance programs, and 24/7 emergency response. The division will be led by Ted Smith as General Manager and Kyle Elkins as Sales Director. Smith, with over 30 years of experience in industrial HVAC leadership, brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Elkins, a University of Arkansas graduate, will focus on business development and contract negotiation.
Systems Cool Air Solutions will operate from the company's regional office in Blytheville, Arkansas, with the capability to deploy service teams to steel mill facilities nationwide. The division's service offerings include control room and motor control center climate systems, offices, overhead crane cab HVAC and pressurization, custom ductwork and sheet metal fabrication, ventilation and exhaust systems, building automation and controls, and industrial refrigeration systems. Additionally, the division will provide comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime in harsh industrial conditions.
The launch of Systems Cool Air Solutions marks the eighth operating company for The Systems Group, further solidifying its position as a single-source partner for steel producers. The new division will complement the existing suite of services offered by TSG, including Spray-Cooled, Plant Services, Clean Air (Industrial Air Filtration), Refractory Solutions, Contracting, Fab & Machine, and Engineering. According to Kyle Morgan, President of The Systems Group, "Cool Air Solutions changes the game. We're not a commercial HVAC company that occasionally takes an industrial job. Steel mills are all we do."
The Systems Group, headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, has grown to approximately 1,000 employees across multiple divisions serving steel producers throughout the United States and has installed Spray-Cooled™ equipment in over 100 steel mills across 22 countries.
