The Agency, a global luxury real estate brokerage, has appointed James Corcoran as Chief Financial Officer for its independently owned offices in New Jersey, Manhattan, and Westchester. This move comes as the company continues to expand its presence in the Northeast region, following its affiliation with approximately 1,200 agents across 26 offices in the greater New York metropolitan area.

Corcoran brings more than two decades of experience in real estate, finance, and operations to the role. His background includes senior leadership positions at The Agency, Anywhere Real Estate, and Engel & Völkers Americas, where he was instrumental in driving strategic growth and financial management. Corcoran will oversee financial strategy, planning, and operations for the newly transitioned offices, which have recently shifted from Christie's International Real Estate to The Agency.

Ilija Pavlovic, CEO of The Agency's independently owned New Jersey, Manhattan, and Westchester operations, expressed enthusiasm about Corcoran's appointment.

The transition to The Agency creates an exciting foundation for the offices, according to Corcoran.

The Agency, founded in 2011 by Mauricio Umansky, has grown to more than 190 offices across 19 countries and is recognized as one of the fastest-growing boutique luxury real estate brands in the world. With Corcoran's appointment, the company aims to further strengthen its financial and operational infrastructure, supporting its continued growth in the Northeast region.
