Texas State Florists' Association Announces 2026-2027 Board

LEANDER, Texas, The Texas State Florists' Association (TSFA) has announced its 2026-2027 Board of Directors, marking a continuation of the organization’s century-old commitment to industry advocacy and education. Marisa Guerrero AIFD, CFD, TMF, who previously served as President, has returned for her second consecutive term, bringing her visionary leadership to the board.

Guerrero's return is part of an executive committee that includes Tom Wolfe, Jr., who takes on the role of First Vice President; Amy Neugebauer AIFD, CFD, PFCI, TMFA, who begins a new term as Second Vice President; and Ed Fimbel, CFD, TMFA, who returns as Immediate Past President. Additionally, G. Alan Masters AIFD, CFD, PFCI, has been elected as the new Retail Director. The board also includes returning members Jeff Floyd, Dawson Clark TMF, and Tricia Won AIFD, CFD, EMC, IMF, TMF, in their respective roles.

Michelle Karns, CAE, the TSFA Executive Director, highlighted the importance of this board, stating, "For more than a century, TSFA has been at the forefront of floral industry advocacy and education in Texas. The creativity, business acumen, and leadership of this board will continue to strengthen TSFA’s ability to deliver the best in floral education and resources for floral industry professionals and enthusiasts statewide."

Guerrero expressed her commitment to the association’s mission, saying, "TSFA strengthens the floral industry by investing in people across every segment of our profession. The future of our industry is not something TSFA builds for its members. It is something our members build through TSFA."

The TSFA, established in 1914, is recognized as the premier organization representing floral industry professionals in Texas and beyond. Through various initiatives such as conferences, meetings, the Texas School of Floral Design, publications, and certification programs for high school students, teachers, and designers, the association aims to cultivate member success and foster a strong floral community.
