Terra North Resources identifies radiometric anomalies over Charlot-Neely Lake claims

Vancouver, British Columbia, Sept. 04, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Terra Balcanica Resources Corp., a silver and antimony-focused exploration company, has announced that its subsidiary, Terra North Resources Corp., has identified radiometric anomalies over the Charlot-Neely Lake claims in Saskatchewan. The discovery comes after an airborne survey conducted by Terra North, which holds an option to acquire 100% interest in the project from Fulcrum Metals Canada Ltd. under certain conditions.

The survey, covering 163.7 square kilometers, has detected seven prominent radiometric anomalies, including one of exceptional strength north of Neely Lake. These anomalies were identified by an A16-detector focused gamma ray spectrometer system operated by Special Projects Inc. The anomalies are interpreted as potential uranium-bearing sources, aligning with historic radiometric data from the area, which includes rock chips grading up to 0.8% uranium trioxide (U3O8) and 13,000 counts per second (cps) measured in outcrops.

The survey, which involved 2,441 line kilometers of coverage, also utilized a CS-III magnetometer, providing data on two major magnetic domains separated by the Black Bay Fault. The Zemlak Domain, to the northwest, is characterized by foliated to gneissic granitoid rocks, while the Beaverlodge Domain, to the southeast, hosts Paleoproterozoic crystalline basement rocks.

Dr. Aleksandar (Alex) Mišković, CEO of Terra Balcanica and Terra North, expressed optimism about the preliminary results, stating, "The first day of flying has already yielded several promising radiometric signatures, and we are excited to process the full data set to define ground truthing and drill targets. We are particularly encouraged by the potential within our portfolio in the Beaverlodge District, where recent successful drilling on Xcite’s Don Lake claim has shown promise."

In other developments, Terra Balcanica has announced the restructuring of its board of directors. Mr. Giulio Bonifacio, Non-Executive Chairman, and Mr. Brandon Bonifacio, a director, have both stepped down to focus on other business interests, effective immediately. Dr. Mišković thanked the two for their contributions over the past five years.
