SHENZHEN, China, Sept. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Tencent Music Entertainment Group, the leading music and audio entertainment platform in China, announced its plans to issue senior unsecured notes in a proposed public offering. The move aims to bolster the company's financial flexibility and support its growth strategies.

Tencent Music Entertainment Group, which operates popular music apps like QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music, WeSing, and Ximalaya, intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes. This includes refinancing existing offshore debt and potentially repurchasing shares. The company has registered the offering under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and is working with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited as joint bookrunners. UBS AG Hong Kong Branch, Bank of China Limited, and MUFG Securities Asia Limited will serve as joint lead managers.
