BLYTHEVILLE, Ark., Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Tenaris, a leading global manufacturer of steel pipe products, has donated robotics equipment valued at $200,000 to Arkansas Northeastern College (ANC) in Blytheville. The donation, announced on October 21, includes four robots along with an additional $10,000 contribution to support installation and setup costs.
The donation marks a significant milestone in Tenaris’s long-standing partnership with ANC. The company has been operating in Mississippi County since 2006, and the acquisition of the welded steel pipe facility in Hickman in 2003 further strengthened this bond.
The robotics equipment will support hands-on training for students in ANC’s technical education programs, preparing them for careers in advanced manufacturing and providing direct exposure to technology used in modern industrial environments. The donation builds on Tenaris’s commitment to supporting educational opportunities in Blytheville and across Mississippi County. Tenaris has invested more than $4.4 million in the Academic Excellence Afterschool Program since its inception in 2009, which has benefited over 2,260 students.
In addition to the robotics donation, Tenaris has launched a scholarship program that will cover the cost for five students each year to pursue Advanced Manufacturing, Steel Technology, or other industrial degrees at ANC. The program will award 45 scholarships totaling more than $110,000 this year. This initiative reinforces Tenaris’s long-term partnership with the college and its support for technical education in the region.
Guillermo Moreno, Tenaris US President, emphasized the importance of investing in education.
Dr. Christopher Heigle, ANC President, expressed gratitude for the donation.
