TCL to Provide Top-Tier Displays for *Tides of Annihilation* at Gamescom 2026
At the heart of the upcoming Gamescom 2026, the tech giant TCL has stepped up to provide top-tier displays for the highly anticipated fantasy action-adventure game, *Tides of Annihilation*. Partnering with Eclipse Glow Games, TCL will showcase its latest monitors and televisions in a public demo zone at Hall 6, Stant B-050.
*Gamescom 2026* marks the first time players will have the opportunity to experience the intricate details of *Tides of Annihilation* firsthand. Set in a modern London under siege by a parallel realm, the game follows the journey of Gwendolyn, a lone adventurer tasked with uncovering the truth behind her sister’s disappearance.

The game demands a highly contrasted and dynamically lit environment, challenging the capabilities of the display. High-frequency refresh rates and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support are crucial for smooth gameplay, especially during fast-paced combat scenes and camera movements.
TCL’s flagship monitor, the 32X3A OLED+, is at the center of the demo setup. This monitor, winner of the iF Design Award 2026 and Red Dot Design Award, features dual ultra-high refresh rate (480 Hz for UHD and 480 Hz for FHD with GtG response time of 0.03 ms) modes. The OLED+ technology enhances depth and contrast, ensuring dark scenes are rich and bright effects stand out without losing detail. The design is nearly bezel-less, immersing players further into the game world, while Bang & Olufsen’s built-in audio system delivers clear sound, enhancing the gaming experience.
The 75-inch C8L SQD-Mini LED television further elevates the gaming experience. With a peak brightness of 5,500 nits in HDR mode and 2,584 precise zones of dimming, the C8L ensures every scene is vivid and balanced. Coupled with native 144 Hz refresh rate and VRR support, the C8L delivers smooth and responsive gameplay, even during intense combat. The Bang & Olufsen Audio system with Dolby Atmos technology adds to the immersive audio, drawing players deeper into the narrative.
