TCL showcases advanced display tech at Gamescom for *Tides of Annihilation*
At the heart of this year's Gamescom, tech giant TCL showcased cutting-edge display technology to enhance the gaming experience of the hit title, *Tides of Annihilation*. TCL partnered with the upcoming fantasy action-adventure game *Tides of Annihilation*, developed by Eclipse Glow Games, a studio based in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Key to the demonstration was the TCL 32X3A OLED+ monitor, a flagship product that won the iF Design Award and Red Dot Design Award in 2026. This model, designed for smooth, sharp, and responsive gaming, features a 480Hz ultra-high refresh rate with dual modes (UHD 240Hz/FHD 480Hz) and a 0.03 ms GtG response time. The OLED+ technology enhances depth and contrast, making dark scenes richer and clear effects stand out without losing details. The nearly bezel-less design helps players immerse themselves deeper into the game world, while Bang & Olufsen's built-in sound adds clarity for key gaming moments.
The TCL C8L SQD-Mini LED televisions also brought the game to life on a larger scale, showcasing the capabilities of the new generation Mini LED technology. With a maximum HDR brightness of 5,500 nits and 2,584 precise dimming zones, the C8L ensures every scene is bright and balanced. The 144 Hz native refresh rate with VRR support guarantees a smooth and responsive gaming experience, even during fast-paced battles and camera movements. Bang & Olufsen’s Dolby Atmos sound technology further immerses players in the action.
