Taiwan Excellence, a program that highlights innovative Taiwanese products, is showcasing 61 award-winning inventions at the Taiwan Expo USA 2026, taking place from September 24 to 26 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. The event, which is free and open to the public, aims to engage visitors with a variety of interactive experiences.
The three-day expo will feature a range of activities designed to entertain and educate attendees. On Thursday, September 24, the event will kick off with a high-energy opening ceremony that will include a performance by the beloved FuBear mascot and a Texas cheerleading group. The ceremony will be followed by a musical adventure called "Space Cowboys," which will showcase Taiwan Excellence products.
The day will conclude with a Mid-Autumn celebration, complete with an immersive full-moon photo opportunity, Taiwanese mooncakes, and fresh popcorn served in custom-designed buckets.
Saturday, September 26, will see the climax of the event with the "Hyperdrive Speedway," an esports challenge where visitors can test their skills and climb the Pavilion leaderboard. Throughout the expo, visitors can also experience 10-minute Galaxy Trek tours, hands-on product experiences, and the Mission Pass. This pass rewards visitors who complete Pavilion checkpoints with limited-edition FuBear collectibles, including pins and plush keychains, while supplies last.
The Taiwan Excellence Awards, established in 1993 by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, recognize and celebrate the exceptional achievements of Taiwan's most innovative products. The Taiwan Excellence mark has gained global recognition as a prestigious symbol of quality and design, effectively showcasing Taiwan's impressive product innovation.
