REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Synack, the AI and human penetration testing platform for continuous security validation, has introduced a new reporting feature that streamlines the process for security teams and executives. The update, which is now available on the Synack Platform, allows teams to generate detailed reports at the asset level, providing a clearer path from verified findings to actionable steps.
At the heart of the update is the ability to generate reports scoped to a specific asset or subset of assets within an engagement. This feature enables teams to focus on particular areas of concern, rather than being limited to a full-engagement report. Additionally, the update includes the option to create reports for assessments that returned zero findings, allowing teams to document and share successful security outcomes.
The new reporting experience also offers enhanced filtering options, including the ability to filter by a custom time range, individual test, severity, or status. Teams can add free-text context to each report, ensuring that the data is presented in a way that reflects the story behind the findings. A key addition is the AI-generated executive summary, which synthesizes findings to help CISOs and board members quickly understand exploitable risks and recommended actions.
Mark Kuhr, co-founder and CTO at Synack, emphasized the importance of detailed reporting for security teams. "Sara AI Pentesting and the Synack Red Team do the work of finding and validating exploitable risk. This Synack Platform update makes sure that work is captured in a report a security leader can share with the board and an engineer can act on the same day."
Angela Heindl-Schober, Chief Marketing Officer at Synack, highlighted the value of the new capabilities.
Synack has spent 13 years building an AI and human model for continuous security validation, combining Sara AI Pentesting's ability to discover and test for vulnerabilities at machine speed with the Synack Red Team's validation of real-world exploitability and judgment. The new reporting experience extends this model beyond the finding, giving organizations a consistent way to communicate verified risk across security, engineering, and executive audiences.
