Swimtopia Launches Standalone Meet Management Software

Swimtopia, a leading technology platform for competitive swimming, has announced the launch of its meet management software as a standalone product. The move aims to provide modern, intuitive technology to a broader range of users, including teams, governing bodies, event organizers, and meet hosts. This initiative underscores Swimtopia's commitment to becoming the definitive technology platform for the competitive swimming industry.

Alan Rice, President of Swimtopia, stated, "We believe swim deserves its own purpose-built technology that supports the unique and complex needs of the industry. We're tripling down on our swim focus, growing our team, and investing in our products to ensure we maintain the same caliber of best-in-class, responsive customer support our current users already experience."

The new product launch marks a significant step forward for Swimtopia. The company’s meet management software, which has been used in over 30,000 meets, will now be accessible independently from its team management platform. This change allows organizations to adopt the technology based on their specific needs, whether for local dual meets, club-hosted competitions, or complex championship events.

Swimtopia's roadmap for the product includes expanded support for complex championship formats, including preliminaries and finals, as well as features like combined heats and events. The software will also offer seamless integrations with major timing systems and new tools to simplify meet planning, staffing, and management. Mason Hale, Founder and CEO of Swimtopia, emphasized, "We're not interested in recreating yesterday's meet software. We're building what will become the new standard, modern, intuitive meet management technology designed around the people running meets today."

The announcement also comes with a new brand identity, reflecting Swimtopia’s evolution into a modern, technology-first company serving the full competitive swimming ecosystem. The new identity brings together Swimtopia’s connected product suite under one unified brand: Team, Meet, League, and Mobile. Each product delivers value independently, while together they create a connected technology platform designed to reduce duplicate work, improve information sharing, and support a seamlessly integrated experience for all users across the sport.

Tracy Nelson, Director of Customer Success at Swimtopia, highlighted the company’s commitment to serving the needs of the swimming community. “Anyone who’s run a swim meet at 6 a.m. on a Saturday knows you need support from people who actually get it. That’s what we’ve built our reputation on in summer rec, and it’s what we’re bringing to club teams, leagues, and every other corner of this sport.”

The rebrand and product launch reflect a broader, sustained investment Swimtopia is making across its business. Over the next year, the company will make its largest investment in product and engineering to date, while simultaneously continuing to scale its best-in-class support team. This investment in resources, tooling, and talent is a demonstration of Swimtopia’s commitment to serving every level of the sport.

Swimtopia’s commitment to purpose-built technology comes from its deep connection to the swimming community. The company was founded by a swim parent, Mason Hale, seeking a better way to manage the demands of a summer swim team. Today, Swimtopia’s team includes swimmers, parents, coaches, officials, club participants, team and league administrators, and others with firsthand experience across the sport.

Rice concluded, “Our goal is for Swimtopia to be the first name people think of when they think about swimming technology. We want to remove barriers for the people and organizations that make this sport possible, help swimming communities thrive, and create a better experience for everyone involved.”

Swimtopia’s vision is to build towards a future where teams, meet hosts, leagues, governing bodies, athletes, and families can participate in the sport through one connected platform. From a swimmer’s first summer league meet through the highest levels of championship competition, Swimtopia is dedicated to supporting the swimming community.
