According to Damien Kilcommons, Vice President of Site Operations at the Ireland facility, the expansion will enable Surmodics to work more closely with local medical device manufacturers and technology innovators. "Ireland is home to a significant concentration of medical device manufacturers and technology innovators, making it an important market for Surmodics and our customers," Kilcommons stated.
