SUNLU and INSLOGIC Launch FilaDC i10 Filament Dehumidifying Cabinet

SUNLU and INSLOGIC have unveiled the FilaDC i10 Filament Dehumidifying Cabinet, a cutting-edge solution designed to safeguard 3D printing filament from moisture damage during long-term storage. This innovative product combines advanced dehumidification technology with energy efficiency and user-friendly design, making it an essential tool for 3D printing enthusiasts and professionals alike.

The FilaDC i10 employs a molecular sieve for physical adsorption, effectively removing moisture from the air inside the cabinet. Its smart cycling system ensures that the dehumidification process remains efficient, maintaining a stable humidity level between 10% and 45% relative humidity (RH). Testing has shown that PETG filament stored in the i10 cabinet experiences a significant reduction in moisture content, from 0.34% to 0.21% after 96 hours, compared to PETG exposed to open air, which increased from 0.35% to 0.39% over the same period.

The cabinet features a robust 10-spool storage capacity, accommodating filament spools ranging from 0.25 kg to 5 kg. Users can stack up to three FilaDC i10 units vertically to save space, making it ideal for environments with limited floor area. A sealing gasket and three strong magnets help maintain a tight seal, ensuring a consistent storage environment.

Designed for continuous use, the FilaDC i10 consumes approximately 0.23 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per 24 hours at 25°C and 60% RH, operating quietly below 30 decibels (dB).
