DA NANG, Vietnam, Sept. 7, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Sungrow, a global leader in photovoltaic inverters and energy storage systems, has unveiled the MGTL Series, a next-generation three-phase hybrid inverter designed to enhance solar energy utilization and boost energy resilience for both residential and commercial settings.
The MGTL Series, available in a power range from 10 kW to 25 kW, integrates solar and energy storage capabilities into a highly efficient solution. This innovative system is aimed at maximizing the value of solar installations by incorporating advanced features such as Sungrow’s PID Zero® technology, which protects photovoltaic (PV) modules from potential-induced degradation (PID) and ensures long-term system performance. The MGTL series can handle PV input currents of up to 20A per string, making it compatible with high-current PV modules and supporting up to 250% PV over-sizing.
With the increasing demand for reliable backup power, the MGTL Series offers seamless switching between grid-tied and off-grid modes in just 0 milliseconds. This feature ensures uninterrupted power supply during grid outages, making it ideal for homes and businesses. The inverter supports up to 200% three-phase unbalanced output and can handle a maximum charge and discharge current of 440A, providing greater confidence in powering demanding loads. Additionally, it can withstand up to 2.0 times AC overload for 10 seconds, enhancing its reliability and durability.
For ease of installation, the MGTL Series operates fanlessly, achieving ultra-quiet performance at 35 dB(A) on models MG10/12/15Tl. The series also features a 4.3-inch touchscreen on selected models, enabling convenient local monitoring and system adjustments. The inverter’s multi-function port supports flexible connections with diesel generators and smart loads, while its bus-bar terminal battery design facilitates streamlined battery deployment, streamlining the overall installation process.
Safety is a top priority for Sungrow, and the MGTL Series is equipped with standard AFCI 3.0R arc-fault detection, covering cable runs up to 200 meters with a 20A detection current. This feature ensures early warnings against electrical fire risks, keeping installations safe even over long distances. The inverter also features a patented explosion-proof design with dual pressure relief mechanisms, an IP66 protection rating, and C5 anti-corrosion capability, ensuring dependable operation in challenging environments.
Furthermore, the MGTL Series offers high versatility by seamlessly integrating with Sungrow’s MBL120 and MBL160 battery series and an expanding range of third-party battery solutions. Users and installers can access real-time system data and customizable energy management insights through Sungrow’s iSolarCloud platform, operating within a secure and open ecosystem.
With the launch of the MGTL Series, Sungrow continues to advance the realm of residential energy innovation, delivering smarter, safer, and more resilient energy systems for evolving needs. This new product line is expected to play a significant role in supporting the global shift towards sustainable energy solutions.
