Stroudwater Associates Adds Experts to Serve Rural Healthcare Challenges

Stroudwater Associates, a leading consultant in rural healthcare, has bolstered its team with three new experts to better serve the challenges facing rural healthcare organizations. The firm, headquartered in Portland, Maine, and with offices in Nashville, Tennessee, has announced the addition of Anika Boddie, Abby Breen, and Caleb Brandt to their provider, partnerships, and finance teams, respectively.

Anika Boddie, who holds a Master's in Health Administration and a Certification in Strategic Provider Management, brings over 15 years of experience in hospital and physician practice operations. Her recent role as a senior managed care contractor at a healthcare consulting firm equipped her with critical skills in payer contracting, process improvement, and revenue performance. As part of Stroudwater’s Provider Services team, Boddie will work to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance the patient and healthcare team experience for rural hospitals.

Abby Breen, with a Master's in Public Health, has extensive experience in rural healthcare and cross-sector collaboration. Her previous role at a rural nonprofit in the Columbia River Gorge region involved managing community partnerships, supporting care coordination, and delivering mobile and preventive healthcare services to underserved communities. In her new position, Breen will assist Stroudwater’s rural clients in evaluating partnerships that support long-term sustainability and increased access to care.

Caleb Brandt, who holds an MBA, brings a wealth of experience in organizational transformation, clinical operations, and performance improvement from his role as Integrated Health Clinic Manager at Community Alliance in Omaha, Nebraska. His leadership in improving efficiency and financial performance will be crucial as Stroudwater helps healthcare organizations navigate complex challenges.
