SOUTH BEND, Ind., Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Strawberry Fields REIT, Inc. has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of a hospital campus in Marshall, Missouri. The newly acquired property includes a 60-bed hospital, a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, and a medical office building. This addition brings the total number of healthcare facilities owned and leased by the company in Missouri to 21.
Moishe Gubin, the Chairman and CEO of Strawberry Fields REIT, expressed satisfaction with the acquisition. "As I mentioned in our earnings call last month, acquisition activity began slowly this year. With this transaction completed and several additional transactions under consideration, we hope to finish the year on a strong note."
The company, which is self-administered and focused on owning, acquiring, developing, and leasing skilled nursing and certain other healthcare-related properties, now operates 145 healthcare facilities across nine states. These facilities consist of 131 skilled nursing facilities, 10 assisted living facilities, three hospitals, and one medical office building.
The acquisition was made through an existing Master Lease with an affiliate of American Medical Administrators, formerly known as Reliant Care Group. This deal marks Strawberry Fields REIT's continued investment in the healthcare sector, which has been a cornerstone of its business strategy.
Gubin added, "We are committed to expanding our presence in Missouri and providing quality healthcare services to the communities we serve. This acquisition aligns with our strategic goals and reinforces our position as a leading real estate investment trust in the healthcare industry."
With this addition, Strawberry Fields REIT continues to diversify its portfolio and strengthen its position in the Missouri market. The company remains focused on identifying and pursuing additional opportunities that will support its growth and financial performance.
