Still Open to Love, a conference designed for singles aged 40 and over, is set to bring a transformative two-day experience to Houston from October 9 to 10, 2026. The event, hosted at Christ Worship Center, aims to go beyond the traditional singles or dating event by offering a comprehensive and engaging environment for mature singles to connect and grow.
The conference begins on Friday, October 9, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and continues on Saturday, October 10, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Created especially for singles 40+, Still Open to Love is designed to provide participants with tools and resources to build meaningful relationships.
The event will feature keynote speaker Coach Ken Canion, a relationship coach and communications expert who has appeared on MTV’s Unfaithful: Caught in the Act. Canion will challenge attendees to look beyond the idea of simply "finding someone" and consider what it means to become prepared for the kind of relationship they desire. His expertise will be invaluable as participants explore topics such as healthy relationships, intentional dating, effective communication, emotional wellness, relationship readiness, dating safety, personal growth, and building meaningful connections after 40.
Still Open to Love welcomes singles from a variety of life experiences, including those who are divorced, widowed, never married, newly single, actively dating, taking a break from dating, or simply open to meeting someone special. The conference is built around four guiding principles: CONNECT, HEAL, GROW, and BUILD. Participants will have opportunities to engage in interactive workshops, meaningful networking, and fun activities that foster authentic connections.
The conference is open to singles throughout Houston, surrounding communities, and beyond. Regular registration is available at $147, while early bird registration, which offers a $50 savings, is available at $97. Space is limited, and singles are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.
