HIGH POINT, NC, UNITED STATES, October 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- At the Fall Market, Stickley, a leading manufacturer of fine American furniture, has unveiled a new collection that reimagines traditional design with a fresh, modern twist. The Valmont collection, inspired by the historic French Directoire style, is a testament to the company’s commitment to both tradition and innovation. The collection, which includes approximately 28 new items, showcases a range of furniture pieces designed to appeal to today’s discerning homeowners.
The Valmont collection features a sweeping array of furniture pieces, including 20 casegoods, 8 bedroom, 4 dining room, and 8 occasional items. The bedroom and dining room pieces are crafted in quartersawn and rift-cut white oak, with new, lighter-toned Flaxseed and Wheat finishes that highlight the resulting linear grain. The occasional items, such as the 72-inch dining table that expands to 96 inches with a self-storing butterfly leaf, offer a range of sizes and shapes to suit various home settings.
The collection also includes two new upholstered pieces designed for the Valmont collection. These include a beautifully tailored 87-inch sofa on an exposed oak frame and a re-interpreted Greek klismos chair with French Directoire details. Additionally, a new barrel-back lounge chair with a generous 39-inch depth is available with and without a dressmaker skirt, offering a comfortable seating option for relaxation and conversation.
In addition to the Valmont collection, Stickley has introduced two new designer rugs to its portfolio. The first is a stylized, undulating lattice pattern that coordinates with the Valmont Collection, while the second is an Arts and Crafts rug inspired by a vintage leather book cover. Both rugs are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes, adding to the collection’s versatility and aesthetic appeal.
The company’s Portfolio120 line has also received a new design, with the addition of a low-profile panel bed. This bed, available in queen, king, and California king sizes, features a 49.5-inch-tall headboard crafted with a decorative sunburst grain pattern in rift-oak veneers, providing a modern yet traditional look.
To complement the collection, Stickley has introduced a total of 69 new fabrics, including textures such as bouclés, basketweaves, and slub yarns. These fabrics offer both subtle, nature-inspired colors and warmer neutrals, as well as forest green, mineral blue, and Bordeaux red accents. The company has also expanded its range of leathers, with 6 new leathers featuring low-luster finishes, natural characteristics, and a wide range of colors. These leathers are available in durable, easy-to-clean, pet-friendly chenilles, wovens, velvets, and leathers, ensuring a luxurious and practical upholstery experience.
The new introductions, along with the Valmont collection, showcase Stickley’s dedication to creating furniture that is both timeless and relevant to contemporary living. The company’s commitment to design, craftsmanship, and innovation continues to set it apart in the home furnishings industry.
