Steadright Critical Minerals Inc. has issued its second bi-weekly update on the status of a management cease trade order (MCTO) imposed by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). The order was issued on July 30, 2026, due to the company's failure to file its audited annual financial statements for the year ending March 31, 2026, by the deadline of July 29, 2026.

According to the update, Steadright is working diligently to complete the necessary filings. The company anticipates that it will file the required audited annual financial statements, the management’s discussion and analysis, and the officer certificates by September 28, 2026. These documents are crucial for the company to lift the MCTO, which remains in effect until the filings are made.

Since the initial announcement, Steadright has not experienced any material changes that would affect its ability to fulfill its stated intentions. The company’s management, along with its audit committee, continues to collaborate closely with its auditor to gather all necessary information and ensure the timely submission of the required documents.

Matt Lewis, CEO and Director of Steadright, stated, “We remain committed to resolving this issue as swiftly as possible. Our team is working diligently to complete the necessary filings and ensure compliance with the OSC’s requirements.”

The company’s focus remains on its exploration and development projects in Morocco. Steadright currently holds mineral exploration claims in the TitanBeach Titanium Project and the Copper Valley Project, as well as a binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the historic Goundafa Mine. These projects are key to the company’s strategy to bring exploration and historical mining projects into production within the Moroccan critical mineral space.

Steadright Critical Minerals Inc. operates in the mineral exploration sector, a field characterized by significant regulatory oversight and the need for transparent financial reporting. The ongoing MCTO highlights the importance of timely financial disclosures for maintaining market access and investor confidence.

The company emphasizes that it will continue to provide bi-weekly updates on its progress and will adhere to the alternative information guidelines under National Policy 12-203 until the Required Filings are completed. This approach allows the company to maintain communication with investors and stakeholders during the period of delay in filing the necessary documents.

As the deadline for filing the required documents approaches, market participants and investors will be closely monitoring Steadright’s progress. Any delays or issues in completing these filings could impact the company’s standing with regulators and its ability to raise capital in the future.
