Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. has entered into a significant agreement with Valum Energy Ltd. to serve as the exclusive provider of monitoring, tracking, and related data services for the deployment of Valum’s Hydrotor generator and technologies. This partnership marks a strategic move for Star Navigation Systems into the energy infrastructure sector.

The agreement, signed on October 1, 2026, is part of a broader restructuring of commercial rights associated with Star Navigation Systems' previous agreement with Aquagreen Energy Systems Inc. These rights have now been consolidated within a separate licensing entity, granting Valum exclusive commercialization rights in Canada and non-exclusive rights outside the country. Star Navigation Systems will now provide the associated services directly to Valum, rather than Aquagreen.

Valum Energy Ltd. is an Ontario-based company focused on commercializing Hydrotor Technologies, which encompass energy generation and cooling applications. Under its technology license, Valum holds exclusive commercialization rights in Canada and non-exclusive rights outside Canada for the licensed Hydrotor technologies. The company's authorized activities include manufacturing, assembly, installation, operation, energy sales, and related services. Valum also holds the exclusive business-development rights in India.

As Valum prepares to launch its first commercial pilot generator in Canada, Star Navigation Systems will provide exclusive monitoring, tracking, and data services to support performance evaluation, ongoing operations, and the protection of confidential technology information. This agreement is part of Star Navigation Systems' expansion into the energy infrastructure vertical.

Star Navigation Systems developed its first monitoring and diagnostics prototype, which was built and successfully tested in Europe in February 2026. This milestone has established a technical foundation for the integration of the Hydrotor generator and technologies. The system is designed to support the next stage of engineering and deployment work for the Canadian commercial pilot program.

Randy Koroll, Chief Executive Officer of Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd., expressed encouragement regarding the progress of the partnership.

For the Canadian commercial pilot program, Star's system can help Valum understand how the generator operates in the field while supporting controlled access to sensitive technical data. This visibility is an important part of protecting the technology as Valum works toward wider commercialization.

Gugni Gill Panaich, Chair of Valum Energy Ltd., who also serves as a director of Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd., highlighted the significance of the partnership.

Upon validation, the Canadian commercial pilot program is expected to provide a foundation for broader deployment of the Hydrotor generator and technologies across telecommunications, data centers, and industrial facilities. Star's monitoring technology is expected to support performance tracking, maintenance, and deployment decisions as installations expand.

Mădălin Bratu, the inventor of Hydrotor Technologies and Chief Technology Officer of Valum Energy Ltd., expressed excitement about the technology's progress.

The agreement between Star Navigation Systems and Valum Energy Ltd. represents a significant step forward for both companies. Valum's commercial progress has the potential to create value for both organizations, with each additional deployment offering Star an opportunity to expand its exclusive monitoring, tracking, and data services business and build recurring revenue.
