NAPA, Calif., Oct. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Stags Leap District Winegrowers, a non-profit association of vintners and growers, has released the 2024 Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon: A Collaboration, marking the fourth vintage of a unique project that brings together the region’s winemakers to create a single, collective wine. This year, the collaboration includes 15 member wineries, each contributing one of its finest Cabernet Sauvignon lots, which are then blended by a team of Stags Leap District winemakers.
The project, which aims to celebrate the spirit of unity and cooperation within the Stags Leap District, sees a different team of winemakers come together each year. This approach ensures that more winemakers have the opportunity to participate in the blend, reflecting the diverse perspectives and techniques of the region’s producers. The 2024 vintage, crafted from the most distinguished lots of the participating wineries, is a testament to the district’s commitment to showcasing the character of the place.
Nancy Bialek, Executive Director of the Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association, emphasized the importance of the collaboration.
The 2024 Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon: A Collaboration is a limited-production wine, with only three barrels (900 bottles) produced. It is available exclusively through the Stags Leap District Winegrowers website on a first-come, first-served basis, priced at $275 per bottle. The wine is available in three- and six-bottle sets only, making it a sought-after collectible for wine enthusiasts.
The project serves as a snapshot of the Stags Leap District at a particular moment in time, capturing the essence of the region’s terroir and the collective effort of its winemakers. By blending the contributions of multiple wineries, the collaboration aims to highlight the balance of power and elegance that defines the Stags Leap District’s Cabernet Sauvignon.
The participating wineries in the 2024 collaboration are Baldacci Family Vineyards, Chimney Rock Winery, Cliff Lede Vineyards, Ilsley Vineyards, Lewis Cellars, Lindstrom Wines, Missimer, Pine Ridge Vineyards, Quixote Winery, Regusci Winery, Shafer Vineyards, Silverado Vineyards, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, and Stags' Leap Winery. Together, they represent the rich diversity and quality of the Stags Leap District’s vineyards and winemaking practices.
This year’s collaboration marks a significant step in the ongoing project, which has been a cornerstone of the Stags Leap District’s identity for several years. By fostering collaboration and inclusivity, the project continues to elevate the stature of the district and its world-class wines. The 2024 vintage is a reminder that some of the region’s most compelling work can happen when its wineries work together, creating a wine that speaks to the collective spirit of the Stags Leap District.
