Stadium, the Global Engagement Infrastructure company behind Snackmagic and Swagmagic, has expanded its portfolio by acquiring Confetti, a leading live-experiences platform for virtual and hybrid team events. The acquisition brings together two companies with complementary offerings, aiming to provide teams around the world with new ways to connect, celebrate, and be recognized.
According to Shaunak Amin, CEO of Stadium, the move is part of the company’s strategy to build a Global Engagement Infrastructure (GEI) that reaches moments people actually remember.
Confetti, which has been serving over 11,000 unique organizations, will continue to operate independently, offering 400+ live-hosted experiences and 200+ self-guided ways to connect. The acquisition will provide Stadium customers with new opportunities to book Confetti’s live-hosted experiences and self-guided ways to connect, while Confetti customers will gain access to Stadium’s Snackmagic snack boxes and Swagmagic gifting and swag.
Stadium’s infrastructure, which includes local fulfillment in 170+ countries, 1,000+ vetted partners, and a catalog of 30,000+ items, will support the expanded offerings. "From day one, Confetti has been about giving teams real moments to connect. Joining Stadium means those experiences reach far more teams than we could on our own, without changing what makes them work in the first place," Lee Rubin, CEO of Confetti, said.
The acquisition is part of Stadium’s broader strategy to provide comprehensive engagement solutions for teams.
With this move, Stadium aims to enhance its global reach and provide a wider range of engagement tools to its customers. The company’s infrastructure and the new live experiences from Confetti will allow teams to celebrate and recognize their members in more meaningful ways, fostering stronger connections and boosting team morale.
The integration of these two platforms is expected to create a seamless experience for users, combining the strengths of both companies to deliver innovative and engaging solutions for teams worldwide.
