LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- SprintRay, a dental technology company that has produced more than 20 million dental parts worldwide, unveiled an expanded digital dentistry platform at the 3DNext 2026 conference in Miami Beach. The platform, which includes the introduction of a new wireless intraoral scanner called Foundation and a compact chairside production workflow called the Nano Series, aims to streamline the entire dental manufacturing process from scanning and design through production and post-processing.
The introduction of the Foundation scanner, which is built for SprintRay's scanning software layer called ScanOS, brings scanning into the same account and interface used for design and production. This integration eliminates the need for practices to move between systems, making the workflow more efficient and seamless. The Scan tab sits alongside SprintRay's dashboard's design and production tools, allowing for a more intuitive and integrated experience. Foundation is the first intraoral scanner built for ScanOS, and it will initially launch in the United States, with shipments expected to begin in November 2026.
The Nano Series, designed to complement SprintRay's existing Pro Series, offers a more compact and practical solution for chairside dentistry. The Nano Series includes three components: NanoPrint, NanoWash, and NanoCure. These components work together to create a connected print, wash, and cure workflow that occupies less than 30 inches of counter space. This design allows for a more intuitive and practical workflow for dental teams, bringing the entire process together in a compact footprint while maintaining the standards clinicians expect from SprintRay.
According to SprintRay, more than 80 percent of chairside print jobs involve a single patient and a single case. To address this, SprintRay has designed the Nano Series to be purpose-built for these compact chairside workflows. The NanoPrint component uses a 385 nm light engine, while NanoWash automates washing and drying, and NanoCure completes post-processing. The AutoPrint and Job Handoff features help connect production steps and carry case information through the workflow, making the entire process more efficient and user-friendly.
SprintRay has also expanded its materials partnership with GC Corporation, introducing a new hybrid ceramic restorative resin called GC GRADIA PREMi for use with SprintRay's Digital Press workflow. This collaboration brings GC's restorative materials expertise to SprintRay's Digital Press platform, expanding material options for definitive chairside restorations. The announcement builds on SprintRay's materials strategy, which includes working with established dental materials companies to develop and validate workflows.
The 3DNext 2026 conference, SprintRay's flagship clinical education event in Miami Beach, brought together clinicians, educators, and industry partners to explore how digital dentistry advances translate into clinical workflows. SprintRay's portfolio now includes Foundation and ScanOS, Nano Series, Pro Series, and Midas Digital Press, supported by validated materials and clinical workflows. The company's technologies are used by dental professionals worldwide across various applications, including restorative, removable, orthodontic, and other dental specialties.
SprintRay's expanded digital dentistry platform, featuring the Foundation scanner and the Nano Series, represents a significant step forward in streamlining the dental manufacturing process. By integrating scanning and production into a single workflow, SprintRay aims to make dental practices more efficient and user-friendly, ultimately improving patient care. The company's materials partnership with GC Corporation further enhances its offerings, providing clinicians with more options for definitive chairside restorations.
