RESTON, VA, UNITED STATES, October 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Special Needs Care Network, an ABA therapy matching platform, has launched a new job board called Special Needs Jobs. The board aims to connect Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and behavior technicians with job opportunities across the United States.

The job board currently features 2,998 live openings from 49 employers in 41 states. Each posting is meticulously checked against the employer's own listing, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Employers can add job openings directly from their provider account, making it easier for both job seekers and providers to find suitable matches.

The demand for ABA therapy professionals has surged significantly over the past few years. According to data from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), the number of certified RBTs has increased from 89,122 at the end of 2020 to 246,109 at the end of 2025. BCBAs have seen a more substantial growth, rising from 44,025 to 81,566 over the same period, marking an 85% increase.

Employers are increasingly seeking more qualified professionals. Job postings requiring or preferring a BCBA reached 132,307 in 2025, up 28% from 103,150 in 2024. This trend has been consistent since 2010, with notable growth in certain states. For instance, North Carolina saw a 63% increase in job postings in one year, while states like New York, Maryland, Georgia, and New Jersey each experienced more than 50% growth.

Despite the growing demand, retention remains a significant challenge. When the BACB surveyed RBTs whose certification expired in 2024, 57% cited inadequate pay as a reason for leaving their positions. Other common reasons included poor treatment by their company (44%), lack of supervisor support (41%), and unpredictable schedules (38%).

Special Needs Jobs addresses these concerns by providing detailed information to job seekers. Each listing prominently displays the pay range, setting (in-home, center-based, school-based, hybrid, or remote), and full-time or part-time status. The site also includes short notes on details candidates often inquire about, such as whether training is paid or how many days a hybrid role spends on-site.

Job seekers can search for positions by role, keyword, city, or state. The site offers additional career tools, including an RBT weekly pay calculator, a BCBA supervision cost calculator, and an editable résumé template for first-time behavior technician applicants.

Special Needs Care Network's CEO, Kyle Serebryanny, emphasized the importance of the new job board.

The job board serves a wide range of employers, from large ABA networks to small local practices. Smaller practices such as Bright Minds ABA, which offers in-home and clinic-based ABA therapy in Raleigh, and Orchid Academy, which runs classroom-style ABA programs in Washington, can now compete for top talent by posting clear pay ranges and schedules.

Availability Special Needs Jobs is now live and free for job seekers. Employers can post ABA therapy jobs directly on the site, and new openings are added daily.
