SiriusPoint Appoints Rachel Winoski as Chief Human Resources Officer

HAMILTON, Bermuda, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- SiriusPoint, a global specialty underwriter, has appointed Rachel Winoski as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective October 5, 2026. Winoski will join the Executive Leadership Team and report directly to Scott Egan, the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Winoski brings extensive experience in human resources, particularly within the insurance industry. She most recently served as the Chief HR Officer for the Americas at AXA XL, where she led large-scale organizational transformations, supported acquisitions and integrations, and built high-performing global HR functions. Her expertise spans talent management, culture building, employee relations, reward systems, talent acquisition, HR operations, and initiatives focused on belonging and inclusion.
Scott Egan, CEO of SiriusPoint, expressed enthusiasm about Winoski’s appointment. “Rachel is an outstanding addition to SiriusPoint. Prior to her role at AXA XL, Winoski held various leadership positions in HR, contributing to the strategic development and execution of HR strategies. She succeeds Sarah Smith, who has served as the Interim Chief Human Resources Officer since April 2026. Egan acknowledged Smith’s leadership and contribution, stating, “I would like to thank Sarah Smith for her leadership of the HR team and her contribution to the Executive Leadership Team over the past six months. I look forward to working closely with Sarah as she continues in her role as HR Director, partnering with our UK and European operations.”
