Sirios Reports Encouraging Gold Discovery at Cheechoo Project

Sirios Resources Inc., a Quebec-based mineral exploration company focused on developing its Cheechoo gold deposit, has announced assay results from 15 holes totalling 6,850 meters from Phase 1 drilling at its Cheechoo gold project, located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec. The results are encouraging, demonstrating expansion potential along the margins of the deposit within the tonalite and at depth.
Highlights of the assay results include high-grade intervals such as 39.94 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 6.5 meters, including 129.00 g/t gold over 2.0 meters, and 9.07 g/t gold over 12.5 meters, including 103.11 g/t gold over 1.0 meter. The main intervals include 122.1 meters at 0.43 g/t gold, 92.0 meters at 0.43 g/t gold, 58.4 meters at 0.62 g/t gold, 21.8 meters at 1.29 g/t gold, 91.5 meters at 0.30 g/t gold, 54.0 meters at 0.49 g/t gold, 88.5 meters at 0.30 g/t gold, and 58.5 meters at 0.45 g/t gold. Visible gold was observed in 68 intervals across 18 drill holes, confirming the continuity and strong potential of the mineralized system.
The drilling campaign was completed on September 28, with a total of 45 holes and 23,037.5 meters drilled. Planning is underway for Phase 2, which will comprise approximately 12,000 meters and will complete the 35,000 meter campaign announced on April 1 (see press release). Phase 2 is scheduled to begin in January 2027.
The assay results from the current campaign are part of the 2026 drilling program, which is part of the ongoing exploration efforts at the Cheechoo gold project.
