WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Sept. 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Arcutis Biotherapeutics, Inc., a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing meaningful innovations in immuno-dermatology, has partnered with world champion gymnast Simone Biles to launch the Skin to Believe In awareness campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness about seborrheic dermatitis and eczema, two common inflammatory skin conditions, and encourage the approximately 36 million Americans living with these conditions to speak with their healthcare providers about long-term, steroid-free treatment options.

Biles, who has been open about her personal journey managing the symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis and eczema, shares her experience of dealing with persistent flakes and itching on her scalp and arms. After years of trying over-the-counter products, she consulted with her dermatologist, who diagnosed her with seborrheic dermatitis on her face and scalp and eczema on her arms. Biles was prescribed ZORYVE® (roflumilast) foam for her seborrheic dermatitis and ZORYVE cream for her eczema. She found the treatment effective, noting that it is not a steroid, pill, injection, or shampoo, and is easy to use, non-greasy, and fits into her routine.

ZORYVE, the number one prescribed branded topical therapy across three major inflammatory dermatoses combined, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, and plaque psoriasis, has demonstrated significant clinical impact. In pivotal trials involving approximately 4,200 participants, ZORYVE cream 0.15% for atopic dermatitis showed that 77% of the 458 individuals achieved clear or almost clear skin after 8 weeks of treatment compared to 53% of the 225 people using inactive cream. Similarly, ZORYVE foam 0.3% for seborrheic dermatitis provided rapid disease clearance and significant reduction in itch, with 77% of the 458 individuals achieving clear or almost clear skin after 8 weeks of treatment compared to 53% of the 225 people using inactive foam.

In clinical trials of over 1,300 people, ZORYVE cream 0.15% for atopic dermatitis rapidly improved eczema symptoms such as redness, itching, and rash with once-daily treatment. Nearly a third (31% of the 884 people) achieved clear or almost clear skin at 4 weeks with ZORYVE cream compared to 14% of the 453 people using inactive cream. Many patients experienced a reduction in itch within 24 hours of the first application.

The Skin to Believe In awareness campaign encourages people living with inflammatory skin conditions to believe that relief is possible. The campaign empowers individuals to have a conversation with their healthcare provider about treatment options that fit seamlessly into their daily routine. ZORYVE has been honored with multiple prestigious awards, including the "2025 Best of Beauty Breakthrough Award" from Allure and the National Psoriasis Foundation’s Seal of Recognition. Additionally, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) issued a strong recommendation for the use of ZORYVE cream 0.15% in adult patients with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis, according to updated guidelines released in June 2025.

ZORYVE is indicated for the topical treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in adult and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older, as well as for plaque psoriasis in adult and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older. The most common adverse reactions reported (≥1%) for ZORYVE cream 0.15% for atopic dermatitis 6 years of age or older were headache (2.9%), nausea (1.9%), application site pain (1.5%), diarrhea (1.5%), and vomiting (1.5%). For ZORYVE cream 0.3% for plaque psoriasis, the most common adverse reactions reported (≥1%) were diarrhea (3.1%), headache (2.4%), insomnia (1.4%), nausea (1.2%), application site pain (1.0%), upper respiratory tract infection (1.0%), and urinary tract infection (1.0%).
