Simbe appoints leaders to boost client success and industry involvement

Simbe, the leading platform for shelf intelligence, has bolstered its leadership team as retailers increasingly scale physical AI across their enterprises. Claudia Molina has been appointed as Vice President of Client Success, while Caitlin Allen and Benjamin Bond have taken on new leadership roles at the Food Marketing Institute (FMI).

According to Brad Bogolea, CEO and Co-Founder of Simbe, the company is helping retailers transform their operations by translating physical intelligence into enterprise value. Molina, who brings extensive experience from leadership roles at Meta, JPMorgan, and American Express, will focus on guiding executive customer relationships and long-term success strategies for global retailers as they expand physical AI across hundreds and thousands of locations.

"Molina's strategic and enterprise experience will be invaluable as we help our clients realize the full potential of physical AI," said Bogolea. "Physical AI offers a new operating layer for retail, enabling retailers to orchestrate actions across channels with trusted, real-time ground truth of the store."

Allen has joined FMI's Daunting Data Dilemma Industry Task Force, where she will contribute to industry efforts focused on retail data quality, interoperability, and real-time operational visibility. Bond, meanwhile, has been appointed to FMI's Fresh Food Leadership Council, where he will bring his expertise to initiatives aimed at improving forecasting, reducing food waste, and increasing visibility across fresh operations.

These appointments reflect Simbe's growing influence in the industry. The company's platform combines proprietary robotics, computer vision, RFID, fixed sensors, edge AI, and enterprise software to create a continuously updated picture of store conditions and orchestrate the actions that follow. This foundation is designed to make physical retail increasingly intelligent, first by establishing trusted ground truth and then turning that intelligence into workflows and applications that enhance store operations.

Simbe's platform is currently deployed across thousands of locations in nearly a dozen countries, building the physical intelligence infrastructure that connects stores to the increasingly AI-powered systems, teams, and channels that depend on them. With Molina, Allen, and Bond leading Simbe's efforts, the company is well-positioned to continue driving transformation in the retail industry.

"The quality of AI-driven decisions depends on the accuracy of the underlying data," said Bogolea. "By ensuring that retailers have a trusted, real-time understanding of their stores, Simbe enables them to take more intelligent actions across merchandising, fulfillment, supply chain, and the broader retail ecosystem."

The appointments come as retailers are increasingly standardizing physical intelligence across their enterprises. Simbe's vertically integrated system of Tally robots, fixed sensors, RFID, computer vision, and AI provides a continuous, real-time picture of store conditions, orchestrating actions that keep stores running at their best. Deployed in thousands of locations in 10 countries, Simbe empowers associates, improves the shopper experience, and feeds the entire retail ecosystem with intelligence it can trust.
