Signature Resolution, a leading provider of dispute resolution services, has announced the addition of Hon. Karen F. Green (Ret.) to its panel of neutrals. Judge Green, with a career spanning over three decades, brings a wealth of experience in complex civil and commercial disputes to the organization.
Judge Green began her legal career as a federal litigator, working at Hale and Dorr for two years. She then served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts, where she was involved in both civil and criminal cases. Her tenure at Hale and Dorr continued, where she was elected a senior partner in 1990. In 1993, she served as Chief of Staff to Governor William F. Weld, before returning to private practice. As a partner at Hale and Dorr, she defended companies and executives in high-stakes business litigation, government investigations, and False Claims Act matters. Later, she co-chaired the Litigation Department of WilmerHale.
From 2016 to 2022, Judge Green presided over the Massachusetts Superior Court, where she handled both criminal and civil cases, including those in the Business Litigation Session. After leaving the bench, she established Green Law LLC, where she resolved business cases through mediation and arbitrated as a member of the American Arbitration Association's Roster of Commercial Arbitrators and National Judicial Payor-Provider Panel.

Judge Green has received wide recognition in the legal profession. She has been honored by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, and the Women's White Collar Defense Association, which recognized her as a Trailblazer. She also served as President of the Litigation Counsel of America and co-chairs the Rule of Law Leadership Council of the World Justice Project. Additionally, she is a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School.
