Signature Resolution Adds Experienced Mediator Price K. Kent

With a diverse background spanning two decades in entertainment and employment litigation, Kent brings a unique blend of legal expertise and practical experience to the firm.

Kent, a seasoned trial attorney, has represented clients in a wide array of civil disputes, including employment, probate, real estate, and civil litigation matters. Her legal career has seen her serve as lead trial counsel in cases involving labor and employment, copyright and trademark, real property, business torts, and government tort claims. She later founded her own trial practice, where she continued to represent clients in employment, defamation, right of publicity, copyright and trademark, probate, and real estate disputes.

As a mediator, Kent is known for her ability to quickly identify the underlying goals of each party, a skill she honed during her earlier career as a professional musician. She emphasizes a collaborative approach, believing that listening is key to helping parties reach a shared agreement. Kent's approach is designed to avoid the costly realities of prolonged disputes, making resolution feel more collaborative and achievable.

Kent's professional journey is marked by her involvement in various organizations. She serves as Program Chair on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Inn of Court and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, the Lawyer's Club of San Diego, California Women Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. She previously held the position of President of the Whittier Law School Alumni Association.

Kent's educational background is equally impressive. She earned her Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law, a Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance from the same institution.
