Dr. Sentis, a Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Texas at Austin, brings extensive expertise in advanced control and embodied intelligence to the role. His advisory will guide Si-Ware Systems as it seeks to integrate reliable, real-time perception into the next generation of smart machines. The company's focus lies in spectral sensing, sensor control, sensing fusion, and AI, with a particular emphasis on material and gas composition, condition, quality, and chemical presence.

Dr. Luis Sentis has a distinguished career, having previously served as the Chair of Good Systems and co-founder of Apptronik and AIVE. His research at the University of Texas at Austin centers on human-centered intelligent systems, with a focus on advanced control, embodied intelligence, and Physical Intelligence. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and received the NASA Elite Team Award for his contributions at NASA's Johnson Space Center.
