TOKYO, OTA, JAPAN, September 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- SHIRO & Co. has released "LIFE," a ten-part microdrama anthology exploring a world where artificial intelligence (AI) functions seamlessly and accurately. The project, which consists of ten 20-second episodes, delves into the quieter consequences of technological progress in a society where AI does not malfunction, rebel, or collapse but operates exactly as intended.

In "LIFE," each episode focuses on a small human disturbance within an otherwise smoothly functioning environment. The series examines various aspects of life, including health, work, intimacy, education, care, administration, and memory. Through these microdramas, the company aims to explore the social consequences of emerging technology without reducing them to predictions, warnings, or product claims.

The first episode, "NO ABNORMALITY," illustrates a scenario where a medical assessment finds no abnormality, leaving a person with nothing to argue against. "THE INEXPERIENCED" explores a situation where competence is measured before experience has a chance to exist. "MONTHLY LOVER" delves into the reliability of synthetic relationships, while "THE NONEXISTENT GIRL" examines the presence of a generated individual in social space. "THE ENTRY JOB" focuses on the optimization of the first step into work, and "OPTIMAL CHOICE" highlights a correct recommendation that leaves no room for refusal. "THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON'S ROOM" looks at a room designed for success, which cannot explain its silence. "THE OLD MESSAGE BOARD" preserves a former public square as a memory of disorder. "NORMAL WORK" addresses the system's smooth operation and the remaining labor that becomes harder to name. Finally, "THE OBSERVER" portrays a person watching a world that no longer needs visible failure.

Each episode uses a 9:16 vertical frame, black surfaces, thin borders, and minimal controls. The films do not autoplay, and playback begins only after the viewer chooses to enter the work. The anthology is available through the LIFE digital screening room at www.shiroand.io/life-microdrama-anthology.
