On October 8, 2026, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers opened their first public exhibition in Sarajevo, bringing practical assistance techniques to the central square of the Bosnian capital. The event, originally scheduled for 5:30 p.m., was moved indoors due to rain and a sudden drop in temperature, but still attracted a significant number of visitors.

The exhibition, held in a yellow tent, featured a series of free seminars and demonstrations aimed at helping people deal with the difficulties of everyday life. Juraj Duna, the Volunteer Minister in charge of the European Goodwill Tour, provided an overview of the program’s history and its current offerings. He explained that the Volunteer Ministers program began in the mid-1970s, created by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, and has since assisted communities in times of peace and disaster.

Among the subjects presented in the exhibition were 19 practical tools drawn from the Scientology Handbook, covering a wide range of issues such as stress, conditions at work, study problems, communication, marriage, and raising children. The most requested seminars focused on assists, a set of simple techniques intended to help a person relax and ease discomfort by addressing the spiritual component of stress and tension.

By the close of the exhibition, 13 participants had reported that they were applying what they learned to help family members at home, and several asked for further training. Duna noted that the event was memorable for the warmth and openness of the local community, which quickly moved from watching to doing, with visitors delivering assists to each other by the second day.

Following the exhibition, the tour delivered a lecture and workshop on The Cause of Suppression for members of a local cultural association and was asked to repeat the lecture for a larger audience in the city. The Scientology Volunteer Ministers European Goodwill Tour arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 6, 2026, spending five weeks in Mostar before moving to Sarajevo. The tour concluded its work in the country on October 8, 2026, and continued to other cities in the region.

The exhibition was part of a broader initiative by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers to bring practical assistance techniques to communities in times of peace. Their motto, “Something can be done about it,” reflects their commitment to helping people improve their lives and the lives of those around them.
