Sara Lucas-Briggs, a real estate professional with a background in community service, has authored a heartwarming children’s book titled "Lilly The Downeast Lobstah." The book, published by Fulton Books, tells the story of a young lobster named Lilly navigating the rocky coast of Maine and learning valuable lessons about friendship and self-discovery.

Lilly, a small and initially uncertain lobster, finds solace and strength in the bonds she forms with her fellow marine creatures. From her early work at Youth Agencies to her volunteer experiences at the Newport-Mesa Family YMCA in California and the Mesa Family YMCA in Arizona, her commitment to helping others is evident. After obtaining her college degree, she spent over two decades in real estate sales, building strong relationships in her local community. By 2014, she had opened her own real estate brokerage, Briggs Realty, which thrived with local support before she sold it in 2022 to HomeServices of America. The inspiration for "Lilly The Downeast Lobstah" came to her in a dream during the summer of 2024, which she translated into the story on the third day at her kitchen table.
