MONTRÉAL, Sept. 23, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Saputo Inc., one of the top ten dairy processors in the world, has announced significant organizational changes aimed at enhancing its ability to execute strategic priorities and support its long-term growth strategy. The restructuring, which includes the creation of a dedicated Ingredients Division, the appointment of a Chief Enterprise Transformation Officer, and other key leadership roles, reflects the company’s commitment to evolving its business to meet changing customer, consumer, and market needs.
Carl Colizza, President and CEO of Saputo, emphasized the importance of organizational agility and execution in the company’s ongoing evolution.
The company is creating a new Ingredients Division to accelerate innovation and strengthen commercial focus. Steve Douglas, who will continue to lead the Dairy Division (UK) until the sale is completed, has been appointed as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the new Ingredients Division. His role will encompass leading commercial, operational, innovation, and growth initiatives within the division.
In addition to the new Ingredients Division, Saputo has appointed Dave Paradis as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Division. Paradis will focus on advancing the division's strategic priorities, enhancing commercial execution, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving operational excellence.
To support the company’s continued evolution and the adoption of new technologies, Saputo has created the role of Chief Enterprise Transformation Officer, to be led by Haig Poutchigian. Poutchigian will lead the integration of business administration and operational finance teams into a single enterprise services model, aiming to streamline processes, reduce complexity, and improve coordination across the enterprise.
These organizational changes are intended to increase focus, strengthen accountability, and improve execution across key strategic priorities. They align with Saputo’s broader objectives, including expanding value-added dairy and high-protein ingredients capabilities, leveraging digital and AI-enabled technologies, simplifying processes, and supporting sustainable growth and value creation.
The restructuring does not alter Saputo’s strategic priorities, but rather enhances focus, accountability, and execution across the business. The company remains committed to its objectives of expanding its ingredients platform and leveraging digital technologies to drive growth and innovation.
