POINT ROBERTS, Wash., Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Sanwire Corporation, a diversified company with a focus on aggregating financial services and technologies, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Bateau Asset Management Pty Ltd, a boutique investment firm based in Australia with offices in Singapore. The acquisition, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, will provide Sanwire with a new direction to build a solid foundation for future growth and acquisition opportunities.

Since its inception in 2016, Bateau Asset Management has consistently delivered returns for its clients. The firm's Global Opportunities Fund, which holds investments in Vanguard All-World ex-US Shares Index Exchange Traded Fund, Insync Global Capital Aware Fund, Apricor Capital, Impellor Small Companies Growth Fund, Hyperforge Fund, and Supermaterials Fund, has a net asset value of over $7,500,000 as of July 2026. Bateau has a well-established client base of high-net-worth individuals, serviced by its experienced global client services team based in Australia and Singapore.

Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, Sanwire will acquire 100% of Bateau in exchange for the issuance of 1,424,115 shares of Sanwire’s Series G Preferred Stock, convertible into common stock, a $250,000 convertible promissory note that matures on October 1, 2028 and is interest-free for the first 12 months, and a $100,000 cash payment payable in interest-free installments over a three-year period. Bateau has since changed its fiscal year-end to December 31st, the same as Sanwire’s, and its 2026 fiscal year runs from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Commencing in the fourth quarter of 2026, Sanwire will report Bateau’s financials on a consolidated basis.

“We are delighted to be joining Sanwire,” said Wayne Blazejczyk, CEO of Bateau Asset Management.

In prior communications to its shareholders, Sanwire stated that it was looking for its next acquisition, preferably in the financial services market. This acquisition will provide Sanwire with an entry into the Australian and Southeast Asian financial services markets and a new direction to build a solid foundation for future growth and acquisition opportunities.
