SAMANA Launches COLLECTA with Premium Development on The World Islands

SAMANA Developers, an established player in the Dubai real estate market, has unveiled its latest venture, COLLECTA, a premium brand that will develop lifestyle-led destinations both in Dubai and internationally. The company, which has already launched 54 projects in Dubai and is itself among the top 10 developers in the city, is now focusing on a more selective portfolio of developments characterized by distinctive locations, state-of-the-art design, international brand collaborations, and highly curated residential experiences.
The first flagship project under COLLECTA will be a landmark development on The World Islands, an area known for its distinctive waterfront locations. The gross development value of this project is set to exceed AED 4 billion, and it will feature 840 branded residences, along with seven floating villas and two tree villas. The project aims to transform The World Islands into a year-round residential destination, offering residents a blend of privacy and waterfront access with the services, amenities, and connectivity expected from a primary residence.
According to Imran Farooq, CEO of SAMANA Developers, the COLLECTA brand is built around a "life first" philosophy, focusing on creating destinations that enable a better quality of life.
The development will feature multiple beaches, a lagoon, swimming pools, a beach club, water-sports facilities, spas, indoor and outdoor gyms, co-working spaces, and a dedicated welcome center. Retail and services will also be available to support residents' daily needs. Regular yacht shuttle services will connect the island to mainland Dubai at 30-minute intervals, with embarkation points to be announced closer to launch. These services are designed to reflect changing working patterns, allowing more entrepreneurs and professionals to live and work with greater flexibility.
The residential collection will include studios, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, as well as the floating and tree villas. All residences are planned with sea views, with layouts designed to maximize the visual relationship with the water through extended sightlines, generous glazing, and carefully considered spatial planning. Italian-inspired landscaping will extend across the wider island, while the residences are being created in collaboration with a globally recognized Italian luxury marque renowned for its design heritage, craftsmanship, and distinctive contemporary style.
With residences expected to start at below AED 2 million, SAMANA intends to introduce a broader range of entry points into premium island living, widening the appeal of the destination while maintaining its premium positioning, services, and amenities. The project also represents a broader evolution in SAMANA Developers' development strategy, moving beyond individual residential buildings towards complete lifestyle destinations.
The World Islands development is part of a wider pipeline of projects planned under COLLECTA. Following the establishment of the brand in Dubai, the company intends to explore selected international lifestyle and waterfront destinations as part of its next phase of growth.
