DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Oct. 07, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Sadia Halal, a leading multi-protein food company, has been honored with the UAE Food Cluster Champion Award for Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance at the 2026 edition of the awards. The recognition was announced during the Future Food Forum in Dubai on September 29, 2026.
The award, presented by the UAE Food Cluster, acknowledges Sadia Halal’s KEZAD facility in Abu Dhabi for its exceptional standards in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The factory, one of the company’s key manufacturing operations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, was selected based on its technological distinction, measurable outcomes, and flawless regulatory track record.
During the assessment process, the Cluster Assessment Team visited the KEZAD factory to evaluate its advanced systems, processes, and practices. The facility’s achievements and initiatives were then presented to a jury comprising representatives from the UAE’s Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT), Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE), Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), and the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).
Sadia Halal’s KEZAD factory participated in two categories, Sustainability & Environmental Impact and Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance, ultimately securing the Champion Award for the latter.
The UAE Food Cluster Champion Awards recognize organizations demonstrating excellence and measurable impact across the UAE food ecosystem. The Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance category specifically honors leading practices in food safety systems, quality assurance, compliance leadership, and trust.
