NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 01, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RHP), a leading lodging and hospitality real estate investment trust, has completed the acquisition of the Grande Lakes Orlando Resort, marking a significant expansion in the company’s portfolio. The deal, valued at approximately $1.38 billion (subject to certain adjustments), bolsters Ryman’s presence in the Orlando market, one of the nation’s largest meeting centers.

Mark Fioravanti, President and CEO of Ryman Hospitality Properties, expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, stating, “The successful completion of this transaction is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. We are excited to integrate Grande Lakes Orlando into our portfolio, which will enhance our group customer rotation opportunities and strengthen our position in the Orlando market.”

Grande Lakes Orlando, located on more than 400 acres, is one of the largest resorts in the greater Orlando area. The property includes two hotels, a 1,010-room JW Marriott and a 582-room Ritz-Carlton, with a combined total of 320,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Other amenities include the Ritz-Carlton spa & fitness center, 14 food and beverage outlets, the Grande Lakes Waterpark, and a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf course.

Ryman Hospitality Properties is now updating its 2026 business performance outlook to reflect the expected contributions from Grande Lakes Orlando. The company noted that this update is based on information available as of September 1, 2026, and will not be revised before the next quarter’s earnings release. However, the company retains the right to update or withdraw its full business outlook at any time.

According to the company’s financial guidance, the acquisition is anticipated to enhance Ryman’s ability to generate sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value. The integration of Grande Lakes Orlando is expected to provide additional opportunities for group bookings, further solidifying Ryman’s position in the competitive Orlando market.

Ryman Hospitality Properties remains committed to its strategy of developing and managing upscale, group-oriented convention center resorts and entertainment experiences. With this acquisition, the company aims to expand its footprint in key leisure and business destinations across the United States.

As Ryman continues to grow, the company will face challenges in integrating the new assets and achieving the projected financial benefits. However, the acquisition is seen as a strategic move to strengthen Ryman’s market position and drive future growth.
