ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Oct. 23, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- RxSight, Inc., an ophthalmic medical device company, has taken a step to attract and retain talent by granting inducement stock options and restricted stock units (RSUs) to two new non-executive officer employees. The inducement stock options, granted on October 23, 2026, cover a total of 236,456 shares of the company’s common stock, with an exercise price of $5.02 per share, which is the closing price on the grant date.
These inducement stock options are structured to vest over a period of four years. Initially, 25% of the shares will vest on the one-year anniversary of the grant date, which is October 23, 2027. The remaining shares will vest monthly thereafter, with one forty-eighth (1/48th) of the shares vesting each month. This arrangement is in line with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4), which allows for such inducement awards to be granted as material inducements for new employees to join the company.
In addition to the stock options, inducement RSUs covering a total of 637,449 shares of the company’s common stock are also being granted to the same employees. These RSUs are anticipated to be granted on or about November 3, 2026. The RSUs will vest over a period of six years, with one-sixth of the shares vesting on the first trading day on or after each of February 28, 2027, August 31, 2027, February 29, 2028, August 31, 2028, February 28, 2029, and August 31, 2029. This structured vesting schedule is designed to ensure that the employees remain with the company for the long term, aligning their interests with those of the shareholders.
