HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, October 2, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Runway Uncorked, a Houston-based fashion and lifestyle platform, is set to make its debut in the city with a three-day event scheduled for November 13-15, 2026. Founded by AndreaDenise “Sweetz” Pegram, the event will connect fashion, hospitality, creative development, and community impact, offering a unique blend of runway presentations, model development, and entertainment.
The event will culminate on Sunday, November 15, with the GEI: Houston Presents Runway Uncorked Fashion & Wine Showcase at The Bell Tower on 34th, located at 901 W. 34th Street in Houston. The showcase is open to guests aged 21 and older, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the event scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Pegram, who has a background in the fashion industry, began her career as a model before transitioning into fashion-show hosting. She hosted fashion shows in Atlanta and Maryland in 2016 and became the official host of The Fashion Week Experience Runway Show during New York Fashion Week in 2019. These experiences have shaped her vision for Runway Uncorked, which aims to bring fashion, culture, and connection together while creating opportunities for designers, models, and other creative professionals.
The inaugural Runway Uncorked production will feature members of the production team that produced The Fashion Week Experience Runway Show, bringing New York Fashion Week-related experience to Houston. Junie June is scheduled to participate as the featured designer, with Proceed With Caution by Patience representing emerging design talent. Additional local and international designers are expected to participate in the runway presentation.
Model development will extend beyond the runway, with a Model Intensive & Editorial Experience on Saturday, November 14. Participating models will have access to runway training, posing, photography, and portfolio development. Trainers with backgrounds in New York Fashion Week will provide coaching and development, followed by an editorial photography experience with photographer Jonathan C. Ellerbee.
Pegram, who has worked in the autism and behavioral health field since 2005 and has served as a Registered Behavior Technician since 2018, is committed to community involvement. Runway Uncorked plans to donate 10% of ticket sales from the inaugural event to an organization supporting children with autism and their families.
The weekend will begin with final fittings and preparation for participating designers and models on Friday, November 13, followed by a welcome mixer. The event is designed to connect established and emerging designers, models, creative professionals, media, entrepreneurs, sponsors, and audiences through fashion-centered experiences in Houston.
