RTB Holdings Acquires Boost Transport Expanding Logistics Portfolio

ATLANTA, Sept. 3, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- RTB Holdings, a leading multi-modal transportation and logistics company, has expanded its portfolio through the acquisition of Boost Transport, LLC, a Georgia-based provider of managed transportation services, less-than-truckload (LTL), parcel, and fulfillment solutions. The deal, which closed on August 21, 2026, bolsters RTB Holdings’ asset-light logistics capabilities and creates a more comprehensive transportation platform to serve a wider range of supply chain needs.

Based in Gainesville, Georgia, Boost Transport will continue to operate under its existing name and leadership team as part of the AMX Companies, an operating group anchored by Alabama Motor Express (AMX). Together, the AMX Companies now offer a single source for a diverse range of transportation and logistics services, including asset-based truckload, brokerage, expedited transit, managed services, LTL, parcel, and fulfillment solutions.

Adam McDaniel, President of RTB Holdings, said, "The Boost platform gives us an accelerated entry point to the Managed Services arena. We have a longstanding track record in this space and adding these capabilities as offerings for our clients was a major priority. The culture and team Todd and Justin have created are top-notch. We couldn't be more excited to help them grow this division."

Ryan Tripp, Vice President of RTB Holdings, added, "Freight payment is a balance sheet problem disguised as operations. At AMX, we see it from both sides of the invoice. Reclasses, reweighs, unapproved accessorials, and duplicates leak margin for the shipper and trap cash for the carrier. We have the back-office setup to scale what Boost already does well for their clients."

Collins White, President of the AMX Companies, emphasized, "When a company joins the AMX Companies, our goal is to build on what it already does well, not remake it. What we add is the strength of forty years of experience in safety, compliance, recruiting, purchasing, and technology, along with a team of operators who understand this business because they have lived it. That is the value of joining the AMX Companies, and the support we intend to provide every business across our platform."

Todd Gailey, Founder of Boost Transport, said, "Boost isn't going anywhere. Joining the AMX Companies gives our customers access to asset-based truckload, brokerage, and expedited capacity through the same relationship they already trust for managed services, LTL, parcel, and fulfillment. For our team, it means investment in the growth of what we do."

Founded in 2009, Boost Transport provides managed transportation services, LTL, parcel, and fulfillment solutions to customers across the United States and Canada, with plans to expand into Mexico. The company is led by founder Todd Gailey and President Justin Smith.

RTB Holdings, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is committed to building a diversified platform of asset-based and asset-light transportation businesses. The company seeks to acquire and grow transportation businesses that share its commitment to safety, customer service, and long-term relationships.
