Rovirah Launches "Your Number is Yours" to Streamline Egyptian Property Buying

Rovirah, an Egyptian property platform, has launched a new feature aimed at streamlining the home-buying process for potential buyers. The initiative, dubbed "Your number is yours," promises to eliminate the intrusive and often overwhelming process of leaving personal contact details to view property prices.

Traditionally, property ads in Egypt have followed a familiar pattern: a price on request, a form asking for a mobile number, and a subsequent barrage of unsolicited calls from salespeople. This new approach by Rovirah aims to change that dynamic, ensuring that buyers can view unit prices without having to provide their phone numbers upfront.

According to the press release, each property listing on the Rovirah platform now prominently displays the unit price, along with the date the price was last updated. Additionally, the payment plan, down payment, handover date, and finishing level are clearly stated as the developer publishes them. A WhatsApp button on each unit page allows buyers to chat with the Rovirah team, who then connect the buyer with the salesperson responsible for that project at a time convenient for the buyer. If a buyer chooses to leave a number in the enquiry form, it reaches one person responsible for the project, not an entire sales team.

Rovirah's privacy policy explicitly states that buyer data is not sold. The platform also provides users with the right to request the deletion of their data. Furthermore, consultants listed in the platform's directory have had their identity reviewed, and their contact details are only shown when the buyer taps to see them.

Listing data on Rovirah comes from the developer or the salesperson responsible for the project and is reviewed before publication. Projects that have been checked against the developer's official files carry a review mark with the date of the review. To support buyers, Rovirah has also published free tools, including an advert checker, an instalment calculator, and short guides on topics such as what "price on request" really means and how to avoid unwanted sales calls.

The launch of "Your number is yours" is part of Rovirah's broader mission to make the property-buying process clearer and faster. The platform lists residential, commercial, administrative, and medical projects and units directly from developers across Greater Cairo and Giza, including areas such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October, the New Administrative Capital, Mostakbal City, and El Shorouk.

Rovirah's CEO, Isaac Paton, and co-founder, Florencia Manette, believe that their new feature will significantly improve the buyer experience.
