TORONTO, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Roth Canada, Inc., the Canadian affiliate of ROTH Capital Partners LLC, has expanded its service offering by adding a Debt Capital Markets (DCM) group. The firm has appointed Mark Hoogeveen as Managing Director, Head of Debt Capital Markets, to lead the new initiative.

Hoogeveen brings extensive experience in the Canadian capital markets, having previously served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Debt Capital Markets at ATB Cormark Capital Markets. He joined Cormark Securities in early 2025 to launch the firm’s DCM practice before its sale to ATB. Prior to this, Hoogeveen worked at several boutique investment banks and spent over a decade at RBC Capital Markets in debt capital markets. He holds an HBA and MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

The addition of DCM services is part of Roth Canada’s broader strategy to provide a wider range of financing options to its clients. Brady Fletcher, President of Roth Canada, expressed enthusiasm about the new offering, stating, “ROTH has a strong track record of raising equity capital for small to mid-cap companies, and adding a debt source is a logical addition. Our platform continues to attract industry leaders who recognize the importance of helping Canadian companies access global pools of capital.”

Fletcher further explained that Roth Canada has focused primarily on equity offerings for Canadian companies. The expansion into DCM further enhances the firm’s capabilities, offering clients more comprehensive financial solutions. Hoogeveen will work closely with Co-Heads of Investment Banking Michael Tait and Tony Loria to develop and execute debt capital markets strategies.

The move is seen as a significant step for Roth Canada, as it aims to support a broader spectrum of clients seeking diverse financing options. Hoogeveen’s background and experience are expected to be instrumental in driving the growth of the DCM group.

Roth Canada, Inc., headquartered in Toronto with offices in Vancouver and Calgary, is a Canadian CIRO-regulated dealer member focused on serving emerging Canadian growth companies and their investors. The firm’s expansion into DCM is part of its ongoing efforts to meet the evolving needs of its clients in the Canadian market.
