Rose Hill Center, a mental health treatment facility in Holly, Michigan, has expanded its insurance options to include Health Alliance Plan (HAP) by Henry Ford Health, making specialized care more accessible to a broader range of Michigan residents. This move builds on the center's growing network of insurance relationships, which now includes Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Priority Health. Together, these organizations account for approximately 63% of the Michigan health insurance market. HAP alone serves about 450,000 members across the state, with a provider network that includes 96% of providers in the Lower Peninsula.

Jim Kubicek, CEO of Rose Hill Center, emphasized the importance of these insurance partnerships.

Rose Hill Center has been serving adults age 18 and older with serious mental health conditions for over three decades. The center offers a range of residential and transitional programs, combining psychiatric care, therapy, medication management, and practical skill-building. The goal is to help each person move toward greater independence, addressing issues such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and co-occurring mental health conditions.

The center's continuum of care includes residential rehabilitation, extended residential, transitional living, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services. Residents participate in individual and group therapy, experiential therapy, psychiatry, medication management, case management, and therapeutic work teams. They also practice managing responsibilities, communicating effectively, building healthy relationships, coping with stress and emotions, and making thoughtful decisions.

Rose Hill's working farm, greenhouse, walking trails, and spaces for fitness, music, and other activities extend treatment beyond traditional settings, offering hands-on opportunities to discover strengths, develop practical skills, and find purpose through meaningful work and connection with others. As recovery progresses, the Transitional Living program provides a supportive bridge between residential treatment and more independent living.

For families watching someone they love struggle with a serious mental health condition, searching for treatment often brings uncertainty, difficult decisions, and concerns about cost. Expanding insurance relationships is one way Rose Hill can help more people consider the specialized care and support they need.

As recovery progresses, Rose Hill's Transitional Living program provides a supportive bridge between residential treatment and more independent living. Residents live in on-campus townhouses while continuing to receive support, strengthen life skills, and participate in employment, education, vocational training, or community activities. Ultimately, the goal extends beyond helping people manage symptoms: we want each person to rediscover confidence, establish meaningful routines, and move forward with a stronger sense of hope and possibility.
