Roland DG introduces VersaObject IO-300 and RC-300 Series printers
IRVINE, Calif., Roland DG has introduced the VersaObject IO-300 and RC-300 Series, two new industrial UV printing solutions aimed at enhancing on-demand production and mass customization. The launches strengthen the company's portfolio in direct-to-object printing, providing manufacturers, decorators, and print service providers with advanced tools to meet the growing demand for flexible and precise production methods.
The VersaObject IO-300 is designed for high-precision flatbed printing on industrial parts and product customization. With a production speed of up to 37.6 square feet per hour (3.5 m²/h) in standard CMYK mode, the IO-300 supports a wide range of materials including polycarbonate, ABS, acrylic, PVC, glass, aluminium, and stainless steel. Its advanced multi-layer printing capability ensures precise registration across multiple layers, making it suitable for applications such as industrial graphics, control panels, nameplates, promotional products, cosmetic packaging, and customized consumer goods.
The RC-300 Series, comprised of the RC-300 and RC-300c models, is tailored for direct cylindrical printing. These helical UV printers can print high-quality graphics directly onto bottles, tumblers, drinkware, cans, and other promotional, packaging, and consumer products. The RC-300c is particularly suited for clear or translucent bottles, even pre-filled and pre-labeled ones, making it ideal for beverage brands and cosmetics packaging. Both models offer production speeds of approximately 60 seconds for a medium-sized object such as a 20-ounce tumbler.

The VersaObject IO-300 and RC-300 Series printers are now available through Roland DG's authorized partners worldwide. The IO-300 is priced at $12,000, while the RC-300 and RC-300c start at $9,000 and $11,000, respectively.
