Republic Brands Files Lawsuits Against Counterfeiters

GLENVIEW, Ill., Oct. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Republic Brands, the world's leading rolling paper company, has intensified its efforts to combat counterfeit products. The company has filed five new lawsuits in New York and New Jersey against distributors and retailers alleged to have sold counterfeit e-z wider papers. These legal actions come as part of Republic Brands' ongoing commitment to protecting consumers and preserving the integrity of its brands.

According to the press release, Republic Brands has also cooperated with the New Jersey State Police in their investigation of Sunrise Wholesalers. As a result, thousands of counterfeit booklets were seized, and a criminal counterfeiting charge was filed against one of the company's operators. The lawsuits target national convenience store operators Atlantis Management Group LLC and Atlantis Fresh Market LLC, as well as wholesale suppliers Kings Cash and Carry Inc., Omega Wholesale Inc., Yemen City Plus Corp. d/b/a Yemen City Plus Wholesale Cash and Carry, and United Candy and Tobacco Co. Inc. Certain lawsuits also name individuals believed to have directed, participated in, benefited from, or facilitated the counterfeiting activities as defendants.
