MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 01, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- RenovoRx, Inc., a life-sciences company developing innovative targeted oncology therapies and commercializing RenovoCath, a patented, FDA-cleared drug-delivery device, today announced the publication of a peer-reviewed case series in Case Reports in Oncology from researchers at Hackensack Meridian Health’s Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The case series describes two patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer (LAPC) whose tumors were not surgically removable due to significant complex blood vessel involvement despite receiving extensive prior treatment. Both patients underwent chemotherapy utilizing TAMP-mediated local intra-arterial gemcitabine delivery enabled by RenovoCath. Notably, both patients demonstrated tumor treatment response with reductions in CA 19-9, a marker used to monitor disease activity in pancreatic cancers, and favorable changes on imaging, including resolution of vascular narrowing, without major procedural complications.
Gregory Tiesi, MD, FACS, FSSO, Chief of Surgical Oncology for the Southern Region and Medical Director of Hepatobiliary Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and lead author of the case series, highlighted the significance of the findings.
Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center has been using the TAMP Platform with the RenovoCath device in its oncology program for over a year.
RenovoRx, Inc., which is actively commercializing its TAMP technology and FDA-cleared RenovoCath as a standalone device, generated approximately $1.1 million in RenovoCath sales in the first full year of commercial efforts in 2025, followed by record quarterly revenue of $909,000 in the second quarter of 2026. The company is actively working to expand the number of medical institutions initiating new RenovoCath orders, including esteemed, high-volume National Cancer Institute-designated centers.
The company is also evaluating its novel drug-device combination oncology product candidate intra-arterial gemcitabine delivered via RenovoCath (known as IAG) in the ongoing Phase III TIGeR-PaC trial. IAG is being evaluated by the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (the drug division of the FDA) under a U.S. investigational new drug application that is regulated by the FDA’s 21 CFR 312 pathway. RenovoRx achieved full enrollment in the TIGeR-PaC trial in August 2026, with completion of the trial expected in the first half of 2027 and topline data readout expected in the second half of 2027.
